Some suggestions

After a lot of trying and testing I have my doogiePIM database operational :)
All important data is now available in doogiePIM.
I am now used to making a backup of the database every day and for testing I use another (test) database (thanks Chris)
Would it be an idea to show a dialog (optional), when opening a database, that is very friendly asking/suggesting to make a backup, so one can't forget ?

I like the browser and use it a lot. Can you make a toolbar where I can place the most important bookmarks?

For minimizing any application window I use the Windows hotkey Win+Down. doogiePIM doesn't respond to this hotkey, I have to use the mouse to minimize doogiePIM. I am a keyboard junkie so I would like to use the same hotkey. Is this possible to build-in?
For now I use an AutoHotkey script to minimize doogiePIM, so no hurry please and thank you Chris!

    Have a nice day!

I'm very happy to read you've managed to get your database in order. Well done.

I'm not sure that doing a backup on the open of a database is a good idea. I propose making a backup dialog appear on the close of the database or the shutdown of doogiePIM be better?

The reason for my thinking would be, you open the database to lookup data quickly. The longer it takes to open, the more frustrating it would get. Plus the fact that the data hasn't changed yet. Therefore, a backup on the close of the data would be better. Perhaps a timed automatic backup in the background too.

    Thanks for the brainstorm idea.

The minimising is a bug somewhere. I suspect it's because doogiePIM doesn't use a standard Windows caption bar (to show tabs etc) with standard min/max/close buttons. I'll work on it.

I'm glad you like the browser. I use it for my daily browsing too. When I want quick and important bookmarks, I add them to a root bookmark folder named "Important". Then I move that folder, in the Bookmarks section, to the very top. To access, I click the corner Menu button, then Bookmarks, then choose Important. I guess I could make some form of faster access using an "Important bookmarks" toolbar under the address bar or perhaps built into the side panel too. I just don't want to use up too much screen space.

    Have a great day yourself.

    Thanks, I try that.
A bookmark bar doesn't need so much space, but a side panel that can be hidden (like in the Documents section) would be great!
