Logo on emails

Hi Chris - or whoever would like to offer a solution :)

I'm close to migrating all of my business emailing activities to DoogiePIM. There's just one challenge that I've encountered. I don't seem to be able to create a template that embeds my company logo to use for new emails, fowarding and replies.

I've tried using Scratchpad, but it seems you can only use text with this tool. I've created an email in 'drafts and templates.' It looks OK and includes my logo but when I create an email, select 'hide or show templates', and select my previously saved template, only the text is visible, not the jpg logo.

I could use the right-click / insert picture option, but that would be very cumbersome.

    Any suggestions people?

Hi Red. The answer is quite an easy one.

    1. Head over to the [Settings] then to [Messages/Mail Message].
    2. There are three large buttons to edit the relevant template of your message. Click on a button, eg: "Edit Reply To" and you'll see a familiar rich text editor.
    3. Edit and style your signature. Try to keep those special fields, the ones between the markers |~ ~|
    4. Adding a graphic is easy as selecting "Insert Other/Insert a Picture" from the right-click context menu. Consider that this is sent over an Internet connection, so choose a low cost PNG 32x32 for example, so it gets transfered quickly. It is never a good idea to import a huge image then resize it in the editor because the huge image is still retained.
    5. Simply [Save] and you're ready to go make a test Email message to see if it suits your needs.

Tip: Place a blank line at the start of your template so when you Reply to a message, your cursor will be on a blank line, ready to start typing.

    I hope this helps.
    Chris.
