'Save as type' image question

  1. 5 weeks ago

Hi and a new member here. and a first DoogiePim question.

Have searched and not found an answer to this one. When using the built in browser and right clicking on an image and selecting 'Save Image As', the explorer window that opens has no options in the 'Save as type' drop down. Is this a limitation of the browser? Do I have to enter the type - .jpg, .png, .gif? Trying to save it as a .jpg just saves it as a .png, so is that the default format?
I do a lot of research and using the built in browser is great as it has functions such as 'Create new Document from selection' which is very useful. As I say I've only just purchased DP and I'm still very green (loving it though). If anybody could point out the error of my ways I'd appreciate it.

The default filename of the "Save As" image should be filled in, unless it's a dynamic image. I'll add into the development schedule to automatically assign an appropriate name and file type by default for a future version.

Thank you and welcome to the community.

  3. Thanks for that. Should make my research work much easier. Looking forward to dusting off my SQL skills and diving in deep.

Another minor issue I've found. I have flagged Planners, Noteboards and Events display on the Home page. Clicking on the flagged Noteboards and Events takes you directly to them. Clicking on the flagged Planner does not. Is this something I've missed or a bug?
    Thanks.

    Thanks.

This appears to be a glitch that can be fixed for the next update.
    Thanks for reporting this.
